THE EM VASEK BELT BUCKLE

So, what is that thing? A medallion? An award I won? Nope, it's a belt buckle! Made for me by EM Vasek, better half of Grandpa Ed Vasek the renowned turkey call maker.

Apparently, EM works in metals the way Ed and i work in wood. The turkey is pewter, and set in a casting.

The base was made off of an elk horn button. Then the casting was hand colored, which makes all of Em's creations unique.

She also makes buckles with a catfish, walleye and bass along with the turkey.

This is now one of my prized possessions, displayed with one of Ed's calls in my case in my office. Sorry, Ed, EM's buckle gets more comments than our calls!
